Meeting called to order.

1.                  Wildfire on the Divide (Harvest Festival)

·                    Neil Cochran has created a poster and we are waiting for the final print.

·                    We have sent out invitation letters and registrations with a few coming in already.

·                    The schools are now open and we are going to be contacting them with participation for the poster contest, scarecrow contest and pumpkin carving contest.  We are also looking at the arts classes as well as the forestry classes participating.

·                    The Fun Muster is going strong.  We have at least 2 participants confirmed with others probable.

2.                  Foresthill Community Fire Drill

·                    Lu has an idea to use the Reverse 911 two weeks before the Harvest Festival to send out a message 1) to say it is a drill 2) fire coming from Rucky Chuck – do you know what to do 3) go to Harvest Festival for more information.

·                    Have a survey that can be filled out letting us know about the call and what did they think.

·                    Reverse 911 should be able to contact your cell phone number.

·                    This has not been test so it would be a perfect opportunity.

·                    Talk about having fire drills in sections.  Our community is broken into five different groups in our Risk Assessment.  The drills should reflect these groups if not smaller sections like how Todd Valley is broken into eight sections.

·                    We need to come up with a list or flyers that tell you what you need if you have to evacuate.
